Marinecall 10-day Marine Weather Forecasts
Starts with a 48-hour inshore waters forecast for the coastal area and up to 12-miles offshore. This is followed by a 5 day sea area forecast based upon data from the Met Office Atmospheric Weather model relating to the LAT/LONG for the site you have selected, i.e. Portsmouth, Dover, Calais. This is accompanied by a national forecast for days 6-10 and outlook for the month ahead.All marine weather forecasts are quality controlled by Met Office forecasters and updated three times daily to ensure the latest in local accuracy.

Understanding the area coverage 48-hour inshore waters forecast covers a large area of coastline and up to 12-miles offshore, e.g. Selsey Bill to Lyme Regis along which conditions will be subject to local influences including land effects, winds and tides. 1-5 day sea area forecast is taken from the Met Office Atmospheric Weather model and based upon the LAT/LONG for the particular area you select, i.e. Portsmouth, Dover, Calais, etc. The sea area forecast might vary from the inshore waters forecast for the reasons above.
